AFA Kerala Branch Formed in the year 1981 under Veteran AVM KA Joseph as first President, AFA Kerala started functioning from Kottayam. In 1984 Veteran Wg Cdr AG Mathew took over as President. The branch was shifted to Thiruvananthapuram in 1988 and Late Veteran Air Cmde Radhakrishnan looked after and brought up AFA Kerala to an effective welfare organization. It was his selfless and untiring effort that made AFA Kerala an organization worth its name. In 2002, Veteran AVM KB Kurup took over as our President. During his time AFA could get a permanent office at HQ SAC Akkulam. Late Veteran Air Cmde NUK Nair VSM took over from Veteran AVM KB Kurup in 2006. Veteran Wg Cdr ARS lyer taken over in Feb 2014 from Veteran Air Cmde NUK Nair VSM. Wg Cdr (Adv) PNS Nair taken over in 20 Nov 24 from Wg Cdr ARS Iyer. There are 13 chapters functioning under AFA Kerala branch in each district of Kerala State. Presently AFA Kerala Branch has strength of more than 10000 members.
